The Lisle Children's Toy & Clothing Resale is run 100% by volunteers.

 

We are always looking for folks to donate their time the Thursday and Friday before the resale and during the Resale on Saturday.

​

Our volunteers help display our merchandise on the sale floor, break down the gym after the sale, walk the sale floor during the sale answering questions, straighten up items as the sale progresses, and more.

   

Volunteers earn a spot at our Pre-Shop Friday night to shop ahead of the public. We allow Volunteers to bring a guest to the Pre-Shop. Children are welcome and do not count as the guest.

For those that have more time and talents to give, our Committee loves to welcome new members. You do not need to live in the district to become a Committee Member.

Junior High & High School Student Volunteers

We encourage our Lisle Elementry, Junior High and High School students to lend a helping hand. High School students recieve Volunteer Hour credits.

 

Junior High Students and older can help us with set-up and break-down.

​

Students in 4th grade or higher help with break-down. In fact, we have a tradition of giving our youngest volunteers the "Runner" position during breakdown. Many students enjoy the excitement of running around the gym.

Sellers as Volunteers
In order for Sellers to claim the 70/30 profit split, they must complete a 2-hour volunteer shift. Failure to Volunteer will reduce the Seller's portion of the split to 50/50.
